Del Mar Sea Horse Beach Condo

Very good. A bit of sand in floor but not a problem.

We had a great time!

We just returned from a wonderful stay at this condo in Del Mar. The thing about this property that will make me want to return again and again was the LOCATION. It is a two minute walk to the beach. Cross a small street and there you are! It is basically having a home base right where you would park to go to the beach if you had to drive there. Also, there is a storage shed with all the beach toys and items you might need, which was so convenient. We also loved the shower on the property to wash the sand off after beach time. It was so convenient to go to the beach in the morning, go home for lunch and a nap, and return in the afternoon without thinking twice. Also, super close to the fair, great shopping and a lot of restaurants. I noticed reviews complaining about the noise in the unit, so I wanted to speak to that since it almost deterred me from choosing this condo. Yes, there are people living in close quarters, and you can hear people walking around in the unit above. However, there was never noise of parties/voices/TV/music. It was only the sound of furniture shuffling and bodies moving around. Not a deal breaker. There is a bit of street noise from the random motorcycle or siren, but again, nothing awful. The master shower is quite small if you are a very large person, but I'm average sized and made it work just fine. Lots of hot water/pressure and cabinet space.The furniture and floor plan is very comfortable. I can't wait to come and stay again!

The condo was immaculate and tastefully decorated. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to preparing some meal. Gina was very communicative in a professional way and quick to respond to a few questions. We walked to wonderful dinners each of the four nights we were there, which added to our appreciation of Del Mar. We would go back in a heartbeat!

Quiet on Thursday night, but people above us kept us awake on Friday and Saturday night for a couple of hours (until midnight). No problem if you stay up late. Someone was doing laundry at 3am on Saturday and we couldn’t sleep with the noise. I had to go outside and shut the door, then went back to sleep.
